Today, we are delighted to share a special moment in the history of Nunamae with you. As we stand side by side, we mark both a transition and a continuation. Mariana has decided it is time for a new adventure, and Toos Vergote is honored to take over as the new owner and CEO.

Mariana will continue to be an inspiring presence behind the scenes for some time. Together, we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. And you, as clients, will not notice any difference. 

Toos will continue to uphold the core values on which Nunamae was founded: a commitment to Portuguese craftsmanship, sustainability, and the creation of high-quality, handmade rugs with minimal environmental impact.

Mariana: "When I decided to sell the brand, I had a very specific profile in mind. I knew it would be difficult, but it was important that the person who would take over Nunamae shared the same vision of a sustainable business. When I finally found Toos, I knew it had to be her. I am certain she will do an incredible job with the brand."
